On Saturday, January 26, the Sanford Middle School Varsity Cheerleading Team traveled to Tampa to compete in the FCDA Suncoast Sports Festival. Sanford Middle placed 1st after performing a near-perfect routine that they have been working on for months. On top of placing 1st in the middle school division, Sanford Middle was awarded the top honor of GRAND CHAMPIONS receiving the award for Overall Top Performance among all of the school teams, including the high school teams. This is an amazing honor for the Sanford Cheerleading Program. With the hard work and dedication these 18 girls and coaches have put forth, it was well-deserved, and a perfect way to end the season. Congratulations ladies!
